What's changed

Retrospectives has a new screen. The ideas are the same: layers of past data on a map. But many things look, work or sit differently. Links to the previous retrospective screen no longer work. Open your retrospectives from Retrospectives in the side menu instead.

There’s no Save dialog any more. Rename the retrospective in the app bar and select Save. You can’t save a copy under a new title; each retrospective is saved in place. If you leave with unsaved changes, IR3 asks whether to save them. Reset returns to the last save. See The retrospective screen.

Deleting a retrospective or a layer isn’t confirmed. See Delete a retrospective and Delete a layer.

Retrospectives saved with filters by the previous screen must be migrated before they can be opened. Filters that can’t be represented any more are removed, and the dialog lists them first. See Migrate an older retrospective.

The first layer in the list is now drawn on top. If you rely on a layer being on top, drag it to the top of the list. See Reorder layers.

Layers load when you open a retrospective. After changing a layer’s settings, select its pulsing Refresh button. Style changes apply straight away. There’s no Fetch All, and a load can’t be cancelled. See Refresh a layer.

Filters are part of each layer and decide what it loads. The item list’s own filter panel has gone; use the list’s search for quick narrowing. Lists of values can now use Any and None. See Filters.

Blur has been replaced by Intensity, which controls how strongly points add up, so heat maps may look different at the same settings. See Style.

Item details now include a mini map and, for trips and speed infractions, a speed chart. Person trails have a timeline, and area details list the items making up the total. Polls can still be downloaded for trips, visits, speed infractions and person trails. See Items.
